The Gift that Keeps on Giving!

I’ve been married for almost 9 years. That’s 9 anniversaries, 9 birthdays, 9 Christmas holidays and 7 Father’s days that I have had to give a gift to my husband. That’s 34 gifts (plus the gifts when we were dating) and I’m hoping to gift to him for many more years. I feel like gift giving after so many gifts given becomes daunting. How do you top the last gift? How do you find something you haven’t gifted before?

I’m assuming I’m not alone here. Finding a gift for someone you love over and over and over again is a challenge… not to mention that you probably gift to multiple people multiple times in a year!

So here’s my tip. Find a gift that keeps on giving. Maybe it’s an inflatable cold plunge pool for Christmas. Then a cozy hooded towel for before and after the plunge for a birthday. Then a few accessories to help the cold plunge experience for an anniversary (like socks or a place to hang the new towel). And so on.

Not toot my own horn, but a Bright Cloud Designs portrait is also a gift that keeps on giving. Let’s say you start with a family portrait for Christmas. Then custom valentine’s cards for you kids’ classmates and cheesy valentine’s day mugs for you and your spouse. Then when mother’s and father’s day rolls around, you could slap those portraits on a beer stein, a can cooler, an apron, a golf towel and so on. Next, use the portrait as an album cover for a custom photo to celebrate a birthday. Then finally use those kid’s portraits for teacher thank you cards and ornaments for grandparents for the following Christmas. The possibilities are endless! I mean I haven’t even talked about pet portraits yet.

Anyway, if you are looking for a unique and creative gift, I can help. And then if you also have a good gift idea, please share…cause I have about 500 gifts to go (knock on wood!)
